The University Directory is a flexible online directory-search tool that helps you quickly find contact information for University of Nevada, Reno faculty, staff, and departments. The data source for this directory is the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Modify Faculty/Staff Information
To modify your listing in the University Directory, use Employee Self Service to change your information in HRIS. Once it is modified in the database, your directory listing changes on the next business day.
- To change your name, provide the following information to the appropriate Human Resources office:
- Copy of your new social security card
- An original W-4 form
- Your benefits enrollment form
- Notification forms for any change to your retirement membership
- To change your department or title, contact the appropriate Human Resources office.
- To change other information, go to the Update Menu in ESS. If you need assistance with ESS (i.e., you forgot your PIN), please call 775-784-6082.

Other Directory Information
- New employees are automatically added to the University Directory as soon as the appropriate paperwork is processed by the Payroll and Human Resources Departments.
- This directory includes:
- Academic and administrative faculty
- Classified staff
- Graduate assistants
- Letters of appointment (LOAs)
- Post-doctoral candidates
- Executive or long-term volunteers at the University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ).
- Persons not paid by NSHE, but affiliated with the University, may contact the Worker's Compensation department at 775-784-4394 to appear in this directory.
