The Information Technology Division has just purchased Office 2007 training videos from Lynda.com and is making them available at no cost to faculty and staff at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Because these videos are online, you can view them at your leisure from your own office or home. To access the training, a UNR NetID is required.

These excellent online videos are now available for Outlook 2007, Excel 2007, and Word 2007 and cover many of the new features in Office and the new ‘Ribbon’ prevalent throughout Office 2007.

* Outlook 2007 with Sean Conrad covers the Office button, Quick Access toolbar, reading and writing email, advanced filtering features, and how to integrate Outlook's Calendar and Notes features for increased productivity.

* Excel 2007 with Lorna Daly includes how and why to use a spreadsheet, how to set up and modify worksheets, how to import and export data, and more advanced features, such as working with functions and macros.

* Word 2007 with David Rivers explains many new features, from navigating the new interface to using new formatting controls and extensive page layout techniques.
