Beginning this year, Daylight Savings Time (DST) begins on the second Sunday in March, and ends on the first Sunday in November. As a result, DST is 4 weeks longer this year, from March 11 to Nov. 7, instead of April 1 to Oct. 28. This longer DST date range affects various date/time components of your computer’s operating system and calendar.

UNR’s Information Technology (IT) Division has installed updates on IT and Library servers, including mail servers and Exchange, but your calendar may still be incorrect. Neither the server update nor the client computer update corrects erroneous appointment entries in an individual user’s calendar.

For complete DST download instructions, go to the link below. If you have further questions or concerns about the DST changes, contact the appropriate IT Help Desk or your department IT professional.
