Tech Fee Applications Due April 4

The Information Technology Division is seeking applications for the use of available student technology fees. The total amount to be distributed is approximately $200,000.
The deadline for applications is April 4, 2007.
The guidelines for submission and additional information are available on the University's Web site (link below). The application form is also available in Word and PDF versions on the Web site.
BACKGROUND
In Fall, 1999, the student leadership of the University of Nevada, Reno voted in support of a per credit technology fee that was subsequently approved by the Board of Regents. While much of this fee was directed to staffing the University's computing help desk, campus classroom technology support, general use computer labs operated by Information Technology (IT), and various other initiatives, the balance of the funds is to be distributed to departments, colleges, schools, and other areas to provide information technology for the purpose of supporting and enhancing student learning.
