Configuring Eudora 6.2 (Mac) for Equinox Email
The following instructions are designed for installing and configuring Eudora 6.2 for the Macintosh operating system using the secure IMAP protocol for the University’s Equinox email server. They describe a clean installation (no imports from existing email configurations). Emails on Equinox commonly end with @unr.edu, @med.unr.edu or @admin.unr.edu. Email may not be forwarded to any other server (such as Exchange).
This configuration leaves all messages on the Equinox server, allowing you to access new email and folders from both on- and off-campus. Email may be downloaded to your local computer by saving to Local Folders.
