The University will no longer issue email accounts to incoming students. Email is a necessary part of the University experience (sending and receiving assignments, professional contacts and UNR official communications including scholarship and benefits information) so it is important to have an account that provides a robust service with security, spam control, mobile access and sufficient disk space.
Students may use any account valid email including accounts issued by local internet providers (AT&T, Charter, Pyramid, Great Basin, Clearwire, etc.) or obtained through online services such as those shown below:
You must declare your preferred email address to the University before it can be used for University business, WebCampus or to qualify for University-related vendor offers.
