The Instructional Design Training Lab is located in Room 414 in the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center.

Reserve the Instructional Design Training Lab

University faculty and staff may reserve the lab. It is your responsibility to visit the lab in advance of your reservation to make sure the hardware and software meets your expectations. UNR NetID is required for computer authentication.

Scheduling has been automated. Go to https://etch.unr.edu/emskc to search for available times and to sumbit a booking request to IT/Library Administration. Confirmation of reservations will be made by email.

Technical Support

Technical support is available during regular Research and Computing Help Desk hours or from the Service Desk @One. Special requests including installation of software requires at least a two week lead time and requestor must supply software media and proof of a valid license.

Rules of Use

  • Use is subject to the Computing and Network Use Agreement
  • No food or drink is allowed in the lab.
  • Do not save personal files on the computers; files are removed during reboot. However, you may save to flash drives, IBM-formatted 3.5” diskettes and Iomega Zip-250/100 drives. The Training Lab's instruction station can also save data to the network mapped T: drive.
