Technology in Basic Classrooms

While progress has been made in converting Basic Classroom into Smart Classrooms, there are still about 30 Basic Classrooms in the classroom pool. However, a broad range of portable audio-visual (A\V) and computing equipment is available to students and faculty through our Technology Checkout Service for use in these rooms.

  Most Basic Classrooms have whiteboards, but some have chalkboards... All Basic Classrooms have a transparency projector and a projection screen like these...

When checked out for use in a scheduled class, there is no charge for this technology. The available technologies include laptop computers, digital camcorders, digital still cameras, portable sound systems, audio recorders, microphones and much more.
