IT provides many general access and training labs that are available to all currently affiliated students, faculty, and staff.
These computer labs are particularly suited to the development and production of media. They provide a tool-rich, supported, technological environment for students and faculty members to coalesce and refine information into tangible displays of knowledge. In these labs, students and faculty can create video, graphics, animation, music and other audio, whose final form can display as 2-D and 3-D projection, web-delivery, broadcast, and print. IT's Technology Checkout Service provides a complementary function to users of these labs: the video and audio production equipment necessary for producing raw media.
Many colleges and departments have their own computer labs. Generally, these are available only to students registered in specific courses. However, these 3 labs are general-access department labs, meaning that they are available to all currently affiliated students, faculty, and staff. :
