E.L. Cord Lab
The E.L. Cord Computer Lab is open to all currently affiliated University of Nevada, Reno students, staff and faculty. You must have a current University ID and an activated NetID to authenticate on the computers.

E.L. Cord Lab Hours — Spring 2008
- Monday-Thurs: 7:30 a.m. to midnight
- Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to midnight
To be sure, check the Getchell Library hours, which the E.L. Cord Lab will always match.

Hardware & Software
Over 80 computers (PCs and iMacs); LaserJet printers; color LaserJet; flatbed scanners; general and special-use software. See a complete list of hardware and software available in the E.L. Cord Lab.
Policies
- To use the computers, you must authenticate with your NetID.
- Printing requires a WolfCard, which can be purchased from the library circulation desk.
- No food or drink is allowed in the lab.
- Academic work takes precedence for computing time.
- Stations left unattended for more than 15 minutes may be reassigned.
Fees
- Black-and-white printing: 10 cents per page
- Color printing: 50 cents per page
- Note: Money can be added to the WolfCard at WolfCard kiosks by the Circulation Desk at Getchell Library and by the JTSU Information Desk.
- You can purchase other computing supplies (e.g., CDs, disks) at the Circulation Desk or the Computer Den in the ASUN Bookstore.
E.L. Cord Foundation
The E.L. Cord Foundation has donated millions of dollars to the University of Nevada, Reno for various information technology improvements on campus, including the creation of the E.L. Cord Computing Lab in Getchell Library. We thank them for their generosity.
