Remote Participation

Video Clasrooms are those classrooms at the University of Nevada, Reno that have the audio-visual technology to allow students from other locations to participate remotely in live classes by using 2-way, real-time video and audio connections.

Record Presentations

Video Classrooms can also be used to record class lectures for posting to WebCT, for recording presentations, or as a large video-conference facility.

Each Video Classroom also has a full Smart Classroom built into it.

100+ Locations Statewide

Presently, 4 video classrooms are available on campus and over 100 off-campus remote sites statewide. The main remote sites in Nevada where students connect to campus are shown on this map.
