The University of Nevada, Reno and Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) have negotiated with software developers and resellers to obtain their products at substantial savings which are then passed on to the faculty and staff.  To take advantage of these savings, follow the procedures outlined below.

Maple® Math solving, plotting, and manipulation. Please note: University-provided and discounted licenses are ONLY for University-owned computers, unless otherwise specified. In addition, you must be listed in the BCN Human Resources database to qualify for these licenses.

  • License Keys: All license keys are held by IT. Under most circumstances, software must be installed by IT personnel per the campus agreements.
  • Media: Some software provides the option to purchase media. In most cases, faculty and staff members do not have to purchase media that will be installed on a University machine  as Information Technology maintains a library of current media unless otherwise specified.

Machines without a Citrix client will be directed to a download page. Those with the client installed will proceed to software selection. You will need an activated UNR NetID and password to use the service.
