How to Change Your NetID Password

  1. Logon to the secure Change Password site using your current NetID username and password.
  2. You see the screen (below) that allows you to change your NetID password.
  3. Enter your current password, followed by your new password (twice) and click Change Password.

  1. To be accepted, your new password must meet the following criteria:
    • Does not contain any part of your account name
    • Must be at least 6 characters in length
    • Must contain characters from 3 of the following 4 categories:
      • English UPPER CASE characters (A-Z)
      • English lower case characters (a-z)
      • Base 10 digits (0-9)
      • Nonalphanumeric (e.g., !, $, #, %)
