Host on Demand: Mac OS X Tiger

Host on Demand has a new Mac OS X Tiger-compatible Java-based client that can be downloaded from the SCS website (see link below), which eliminates the need to install the TN3270 client application. It appears to work well in Safari, a bit slower in FireFox, and doesn’t launch at all in Internet Explorer.

Host on Demand: Mac OS X Tiger (Dated 2/6/06)

  1. Make sure you have all the latest updates.
  2. Launch the Safari web browser.
  3. Go to the SCS System Software web site: http://bighorn.nevada.edu.
  4. Click the Host on Demand link.

  1. Click the SIS or HRS link.

  1. Wait for the application to start.

  1. Log into system as usual.
