Network Drops

To request a network drop:

  • System Administrators and end-users should call either the Help Desk or Desktop Services' Support Center, depending on which is your normal technical support center.
  • IT now has a single unified support line: 775-682-5000 or, from on campus, dial 25000.
  • The call center creates a FootPrints issue that is sent to the appropriate person in Network Services.
  • In the past, users contacted Network Services directly with network drop requests. This new procedure helps improve the tracking of drop requests.
