Although not recommended* because of its slow dial-up connection, a PPP connection is available upon request.
* Instead of PPP, we recommend using a high-speed DSL (digital subscriber line) connection. When you connect to the Internet, you can connect through a regular modem, through a local-area network connection in your office, through a cable modem, or through a very high-speed DSL connection that uses the same wires as a regular telephone line.
