UNR IT provides support to Faculty and Staff members of the University. Desktop Services, on request, will assess the needs of individual faculty or staff and recommend appropriate equipment and connectivity options. The group manages computer, campus phone network and cell phone related needs. Faculty and staff also have access to all resources available to students, including computing labs and specialized software at a number of sites supported by UNR IT. All requests for the services listed below should contact the Help Desk to create a work order for the Desktop Services support group.
The University does not provide internet service from off-campus
locations. Internet services must be supplied by local service providers.

Once a viable internet connection is available, faculty and staff members may access many University resources. Access includes:
University resources requires an active UNR NetID/password for authentication.
Faculty/Staff members may also connect to and print via the UNR wireless network with their own personal laptop computer. Instructions are available here. If you have trouble connecting, bring your laptop computer to the Help Desk in the Knowledge Center for help.
