Undergraduate and Graduate Students: Email

UNR no longer provides or supports email accounts for students.  However, the University will continue to use email as the primary method for distributing official communications to students.  In addition, Student Services, WebCampus and other official University entities will continue to use email as a method of communicating with the student population.

Students may use any valid email address including accounts issued by local internet providers (AT&T, Charter, Pyramid, Great Basin, Clearwire, etc.) or obtained through online services such as those shown below.

Student must declare their preferred email address to the University before it can be used for University business, WebCampus or to qualify for University-related vendor offers.  Go to MyNEVADA to register your email address. Students employed on campus should also update their preferred address through the Employee Self Service site.

Please consider with care the username chosen for email accounts used for University interactions.  Email (and associated personal websites) may be used when applying for professional positions, submitting class assignments and other public projects.
