In January 2007, the UNR campus switched to a new unified telephone system. In a remarkably short time, NEC and IT personnel completely replaced some 4,000 phones (the equivalent of a small city) on the main campus. Outlying parts of campus were completed later in 2007.

UNR support personnel process all issues related to the phone system.  We log issues and work with NEC's onsite personnel to resolve problems and make adjustments.  Each item is logged separately; if you have an issue and would like to follow-up on its status, be sure to ask for your ticket number.  We prioritize issues based upon level of severity.
