Instructions for Setting up the iPhone on UNR WiFi

  1. From the Main menu, touch the Settings icon.
  2. Scroll down to General.
  3. From General, go to Network.
  4. From Network, connect to the wireless network "UNR."
  5. Go back to Network and select VPN. Turn the VPN on.
  6. From here, enter "wifi.unr.edu" as the server.
  7. Enter your NetID and Password.
  8. Set encryption to auto, and make sure the proxy is off.

The iPhone should now connect to the University's wireless internet.

Confirm your connection by opening the Safari web browser.
