The University of Nevada, Reno and Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) have negotiated with software developers and resellers to obtain their products at substantial savings which are then passed on to the faculty and staff. To take advantage of these savings, follow the procedures outlined below.
NOTE: The ASUN Bookstore, located in the Joe Crowley Student Union, is a self-supported retail operation owned and operated by the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN). The Computer Den department of the Bookstore Computer Den provides current students, faculty, and staff with academic discounts on Macs, Dells, Microsoft Office Licenses, various software, and other computer accessories. In addition to special prices, the Bookstore and Computer Den do not charge sales tax.
