Faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno began using the WebCampus/WebCT online course management system in the Fall of 1999.
Using WebCampus/WebCT lets you efficiently leverage campus resources to both extend your department's offerings and enhance the teaching and learning experience. For example, one of the many benefits of using WebCT includes the ability to offer an “always-on” environment, providing more time for the student to interact with professors and classmates as well as with the course material in an efficient, engaging and effective manner.
